what is the purpose of the alliance and if a defi protocol is not in the alliance does that mean they are not to be trusted? i just want to understande the difference between being in the alliance and not

The point of the alliance is just to share best practices and help projects from making the same mistakes as one another. At least that’s my understanding. I wouldn’t say that projects that don’t belong aren’t to be trusted, but being a member definitely makes me feel more comfortable with engaging with a project.

It’s another another source of Auditing, I think. Many devs with different ideas and being the code be open source, I see strength in security.
