Add Stocks iAssets to Indigo Summary

Proposal: Add Stock iAssets to Indigo Summary: Introduce synthetic versions of top stocks (e.g., AAPL, TSLA, MSFT) as new iAssets on Indigo Protocol. Justification:

  • Expands asset diversity, attracts TradFi users,
  • Tracks real-world stock prices via oracles,
  • Boosts protocol TVL and user engagement,
  • DeFi meets equities—bigger market, more volume,

Implementation:

  • Select stocks with high liquidity and global relevance,
  • Integrate trusted price feeds (Chainlink or similar),
  • Set initial collateral factors based on volatility data,
  • Community feedback and phased rollout,

Impact: Higher protocol usage, cross-market appeal, more governance participation

I hope everyone here please look into this. I think this could be an intention seeking opportunity to bring to indigo everyone in crypto wants to hold stocks like they hold crypto in their hardware wallets.

Imagine we could have this on indigo considering that this Blockchain only has 28 million in TVL Cardinal has so much more than that 360 million in TVL but we don’t get istocks

Good idea, but too premature; let’s rather help develop a proper derivatives protocol as much as possible before launching the iAssets."

Hard no for now. This is a fast track to unwanted regulatory scrutiny. We’ve gone over this before and the DAO has largely understood this as a poor decision given that past protocols who’ve gone this route have been attacked by regulators. Indigo simply shouldn’t entertain these kinds of iAssets until/unless there is regulatory clarity around these kinds of regulated stocks/commodities derivatives.
