This is a great first step in forming the DAO! Kudos to the team for the forward thinking and the slow/steady approach to Indigo!

Well written. Clear and not full of extra verbiage just to make long. I like how it’s broken out too so that it could focus the community on changes if they’re ever needed.

Can’t see any comments who say why they voted no. I think if someone had voted no, those people should comment their concerns here so that the improvements can be made to the constitution.

Hi Diwalost! Only comment I was a no vote because they weren’t clear on how the governance funds would be used. However, that would be addressed by proposals so I suppose they aren’t connecting the various articles together into a cohesive governance structure. Just my thoughts.

Hi Mary,
Yes, the DAO would be in control of the treasury, therefore, those holding INDY and staked in the protocol would be able to vote on proposals for the use of funds. @defiroose please clarify or add as needed, but I think that’s a simplified way to explain it.

Hi Jose,
Not sure I understand your concern. If there is a proposal to chance a clause (or multiple clauses depending on the structure of the change) then it would go up for a vote by those eligible to vote. I’ve seen this work fairly well for other projects and this team has proposed other elements that should reduce the impact of a whale or a few whales manipulating votes. Does this help clarify?
