Over 90% is expected, I have to imagine that devs were expecting this kind of result to happen. Not sure who would want disribution 1 year after mainnet goes live

I think releasing the token right away not only builds hype but also allows for effective price discovery. Liqwid finance is an example of how this execution can be effective.
